Like so many other Gen Zers, I discovered photography when my friends made me create an Instagram account when I was 14. After that, I photographed friends, family, and my travels. I joined the Daily Bruin as a photographer during my freshman year of college, where I went on to become an Assistant Photo editor and then Video producer. It was through these roles, plus countless hours of podcasts over the pandemic, that I discovered my love for video and audio journalism.
In 2020, I graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Film, Television, and Media. This summer, I will graduate with a masters of science in journalism from Medill, where I specialized in video.
